In Northern Norway, where I grew up I can remember that Auricula was one of the first spring flowers. My grandmother's garden was filled with these beautiful hardy plants and she was very proud to show them to the neighbors. These photos are from the Botanical Garden here in Oslo and the memories of Grandma's garden came up when I saw them.
