About this scrapbook page:
Continuing our NZ tour we travel south from the Northern most lighthouse through the large native forests and National Park. Here we find this magnificent Kauri Tree. Enlarge and read the information panel. Those interested can Google this tree and find out more about it and Kauri trees and Kauri Gum.
Thanks for visiting - still waiting for you to come and visit NZ.

Informative and excellent page and photos Joce, that certainly is a mighty tree that looks rock solid. It's hard to imagine a tree that size so the photo of Barry provides a useful reference thank you. It's also good to see that the old legends live on and are, indeed, preserved today.I really enjoy the trips you take us on through your country & would love to visit, maybe one day!A fantastic page
