Slot Loevestein is 1 of the best remained castles in the Netherlands. It takes an important place in our history. The castle is more than 650 years old and during the 17th century it was used as a prison for important dissidents. The most famous prisoner was Hugo de Groot, who escaped in a books coffin. Now it`s not only used as a museum, but also for events and historical movies
