Home to many Emporiors of China and built in 1406, The Forbidden City lies in the heart of the ancient city of Peking (now called Beijing). It has 800 buildings on the property and houses 9000 rooms. It is stunning to see and has been declared a World Heritage Site. I used web pic because they were better than mine.
