On the southern tip of the Slovenian Karst edge, just by the Croatian border, there are beautiful walls which got the name 'ears of Istria' due to their amazingly overhanging shape. A nice panoramic path above the walls leads to a natural stone bridge and onwards to the interesting rock-shelters. Endangered birds nest in these walls, so the visitors are asked to protect this little wonder. The walls make some exceptional formations - this one reminded me of a heart ...
