About this scrapbook page: |
Gorse. An invasive and often vilified plant unloved by many. In Guernsey there are areas of Common and many parts of the coastline are cliffs with paths to ramble thru. Here the gorse is allowed to flourish but controlled. I remember walking near these plants and inhaling the perfume I can almost smell it now - intoxicating. The rich yellow is beautiful.
