In DK we celebrate Christmas on the 24th Dec. The national flag is part of the tree decoration. The hearts are important (Children are taught in junior art school lessons how to make their own Christmas tree decOrations) The tree in it self is a beauty and therefor it should be seen. Candles are still used when the family walk and sing around the tree before presents are handing out. Welcome!!

My ancestors are from Denmark but I never learned firsthand what you described. This is a beautiful tree in your Foyer and wonderfully decorated with the candles and so much more making a loving scene for this challenge June!!!!
