This is about my earliest Christmas memories are really about the magic & anticipation building up to the day as being most special. --- the hopes, the love, the warm feelings of home, of family coming together, the festive decorations, the magic of twinkling lights, the joyous carols, wrapping presents, the traditions - old and new - the nostalgia of each and every tree. The anticipation is the greatest magic.

I remember those days when I was young & feeling everything you described. The only thing different was I was wondering if it was going to be a nice Christmas day since my father often ruined it after drinking. I was always anxious & nervous before Christmas because of that. I love your old photo & how beautifully you embellished it! I see a German Shepherd (I think you know I adopted my 1st)???
