At the tender young age of 20, having never been away from my parents home, I got on an airplane (for the first time) with my 8 month old daughter (who could not walk)and flew from Louisiana to Fort Worth to California to Alaska to Guam to Japan to the Philippines. My husband was in the Air Force and waiting for us there.
