The main picture was sent to me in an email by my brother today. Rather than forward the email to a few people I thought it a better idea to share this with ALL of my friends on SBF.
THIS GUY IS DEFINITELY A HERO!

A really touching and meaningful page, David. This sort of story showing that even the combatants involved in war can have decent humanitarian feelings and demonstrate empathy and tenderness towards the innocent victims, are not brought to the public's attention nearly often enough. Very well scrapped!

I am fighting back tears while reading this,I am the mom of two boys ages 5 and 12, and this is so heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time, David, you have done such a beautiful job on this one, thank you so much for reminding us all how lucky we are to be free and have soilders who really do care so much.
