About this scrapbook page:
Mr. Langston Hughes was a phenomenal poet! This is a simple poem by him that my children had to recite in kindergarten and they've remembered it since. Children can derive from this simple,but powerful poem a sense of perserverance. Blended into the background is the brilliant artwork of Brenda Joysmith, an African-American artist of this era.
