Oh my yes I remember too well......both sets of grandparents had one..... cut up newspaper or dressmakers patterns for 'tissue'... the memories come flooding back

OMG, I almoust forgot about these ... LOL ... At my grandmom's house we had to use those some ... 30 years ago. But still some country houses and even mountain huts have them. To have to use those, well, it's and adventure ... LOL. Great scrap!

Oh NO - you remember the brewhouse of your last page - well this was our 'LAV' at the back - the one I cut squares of newspaper up for - No light - No lock and shared by three families - I was 11 when we finally moved to a house with an indoor bathroom - Heaven xx
