Made for the Animals, Bugs & Insects challenge. I took a lot of photos of this spider while she (I always considered it to be a she) lived on my patio in the summer of 2007. I don't like spiders, but this one fascinated me. A Golden Orb Spider, she was huge and very lovely. I don't think I'll ever again be lucky enough to get photos of a spider dispatching a cricket like this!
