I fell in love with the painting of the woman on the shore many years ago when I saw it in an art book. Some years later I found a framed print of it and just had to have it. I have never ceased to enjoy it and my late niece Pauline also loved it. In fact, it reminds me a lot of her, with the same long auburn hair. To me it represents a truly beautiful simple woman,at one with Nature, beside the sea, and the soft colours never jar on my senses....tell me your response to what I say... NADIA
