Selene Mama Cat crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Monday evening. It was swift and very gentle. I am sure that our very special Selene sent us this sign that all was well, we had done good, because within a few minutes of getting home this beautiful double rainbow appeared - Selene's very own personal Rainbow Bridge. She took her final dip on Friday and this time didn't bounce back as she so often has during the past 6 months. After 20 months with lymphoma in her bowel wall it was time to let her go.

The background is from a photo of Selene's fur I took some time ago for a possible texture effect. The frames were made from this same photo. The main photos are Selene's Rainbow, and Selene herself in the way we would like to remember her.

Thank you all so much for your kind comments. It is very much appreciated. :-) Until recently, I never really "got" this scrapbooking thing. And if I had to do this for real, I would never have bothered (plus it would have got far too soggy) but digital scrapping is so very easy, and in the circumstances I have found it to be highly therapeutic, a wonderful healing tool.
