This is the old Higdon Hotel located in Reliance TN just about 10 min from my house it has always been a favorite of mine to see from the river The hotel was built around 1890 and operated until 1920 They also built the watchman's house for the forestry service and railroad to watch for fires on the moutain I am of no known relation to the Hidgon family however I do have several family members from the reliance area where I often visited as a child
