About this scrapbook page:
The Australian Animal challenge has finished and due to work I was a bit slow getting around to this page. Marsupials are animals with pouches and most people know about kangaroos, wombats (pouch faces backwards so it doesn't fill with dirt) and this is to show that some marsupials are similar to other animals that are around the world. These are mice size but as you can see by the rear feet they jump and are commonly referred to as hopping mice.

Well if Australian rats are as big as kangaroos, I reckon these must be Australian fleas! They sure look as though they can jump pretty high! Mind you, that old Tom cat that we had wouldn't have minded juggling with a few of them before tossing them down like peanuts! He sure did love an appetiser!
