Your sister is lucky to have you to love and support her through the good, the bad and the scary times. A friend of mine was diagnosed recently. After much research & dicussions with her doctor she now takes high doses of concentrated Omega-3 to help her feel better.

This is a beautiful page. The poem is perfect from my experiences working with people with bipolar during crisis times. I think it is wonderful to spread the word so people can begin to understand what is happening to people with bipolar.

I agree with Lavendar Passion - there does seem to be high intelligence and/or creativity among people with bipolar. Great job!!!

Beautiful page and Well done!! I will get a page in later! Hang in there and just learn to cope and live with it! Try to think of it as a gift because most Bi-Polar people are VERY smart and creative: Use it to your advantage!!

All three of my Children and husband are Bi-Polar Jeri-Ann's is mild ; but my two grown children are Full blown and Jerry my husband is med. It has been a roller coaster ride for me coping with desease since marriage; but our daughter started the mother of all attacks when she was 18. Then our son had a Giant Episode at age 41 almost took his life becasue of it! Yes they NEED family support!

This is a wonderful page on a very difficult and heart breaking illness. I have a daughter who is bipolar and life can become a night mare when you're trying to cope with this. These people need all the support they can get.

Love the page......your poem kinda hits the nail right on the head as far as what it is like to be bipolar...I can relate because i suffer from it as well...well actually the people around me suffer a lot more than I do because i have put them thru so much but they have all stood right by my side. Your sister is truly blessed to have you!!
