About this scrapbook page:
This was done for animegirl's Jack the Ripper Challenge. Jack terrorized "Whitechapel and neighbouring Spitalfields" between 1888 and 1891. (900,000 people occupied London's poor East End at the time.)
Found this quote and thought it interesting: “As a child, I often thought that if some fairy offered me three wishes, the first thing I would ask would be identity of Jack the Ripper; the thought that it might remain a mystery forever was intolerable.” Colin Wilson: The Outsider
Design credits:
The background came from phatpuppy and the image of Jack came from sephiroth012000, both on deviant art.
Angel_png_by_erdmute.
Added three overlays to give it a dark, sinister look...

Stunningly scrapped Mike, you've built up the sinister atmosphere perfectly. The stark white glow of your wordart puctuates the sinister, brooding scene almost as if etched in the night by the Ripper himself. Your quote from Colin Wilson adds a particularly poignant touch to the story your page tells!
