After over eleven thousand earthquakes, a surprise baby, surgery to remove cancer from my thyroid which resulted in damage to my parathyroids and a vastly different quality of life compared to what I had before the surgery, I have learnt to take each day as it comes, accept that I don’t have the energy or stamina that I used to have.., that both my body and mind have new scars that will take time
