As a bipolar, i don't have a natural center and I need that center to stabilize, normalize, ground me and keep me off the extremes. So many people and things have occupied that empty center. It's difficult to have people at the center for they're subjected to the intensity of the constant battle between my polar opposites, not many people can take that so they come and go and I'm lost - except when I remember that no matter who comes and goes, He is there.
