About this scrapbook page: |
Created for I am Named After Challenge. The flowers on the page represent the Flowers of May (Flores de Mayo)- a Catholic festival introduced in the Philippines by the Spaniards. In this month-long celebration, the Blessed Virgin- is the focus of devotion. Every afternoon in May, young people go to church to pray the rosary and offer flowers and songs to the Blessed Mother.

This page is wonderful. The elements and papers fit together beautifully (should be a kit by themselves!) and they really showcase the photo you chose. Love the extra touch with the tiara as another element (must have been some cutout work there!). Really lovely! Should have been a winner already. (Off to give a 10)
