About this scrapbook page:
The woman on the left, Febb Burn, sent a letter to her son Harry T. Burn, a Tennessee State legislator that was delivered to him just before the vote to table the 19th Amendment vote. He was undecided, but the letter convinced him and his was the vote that ratified the amendment giving women the vote.

A fantastic collage of a very important moment in history. New Zealand was the 1st country in the world to give women the vote in 1893.
