About this scrapbook page: |
When I edited this photo of Ellie, I did about a dozen edits and decided to try to do a layout using more than one of them. Just because I love that sweet face. And I love editing. The quote is so true. Even with digital painting. I like edits where some of the features get lost. Feels like it gives it an element of mystery. My sister Nancy doesn't care for edits where parts of the face get lost, so I'm wondering if I am alone in my tastes.

this is truly a work of art - the composition, colors and that quote/wordart are all so beautiful and in harmony. normally, i like to emphasize all features of the face but i ike too empahsizing some and drowning out the rest, and i think this type of editing you show here serves a purpose, like when the emphasis is more on the mood, structure or colors than on the person.
