This is a picture of my parents taken probably in the late 1940's. They were married 57 years and had 8 children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren before mom went home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2006. Dad joined her January 25, 2008. I like to think that mom was waiting for him and said,"Merrill what took you so long." They are together for all eternity and we'll be with them one day. Mom and Dad, I miss you both like crazy. Thanks for looking.

I love it that mom and dad are holding hands in this picture. They look young and happy and it's nice to picture them that way again. I wonder if you have some sort of age in heaven I'd sure rather be 20 something than 70 something up there.

They're dressed to a "t" in this photo, aren't they? It's so hard to believe when you see photos like this that the people you love can be gone. But we don't grieve as those who have no hope, since our Hope is in God's promise that we will see Mom and Dad again.
