About this scrapbook page: |
I had to make a note of this tale after my sister phoned this morning, we were both quite shocked as mum is now quite passive, rarely commenting or taking an interest unless prompted, and moves with great caution, most times with help.

A wonderfully happy photo of you three girls & a truly heartwarming story Gwyneth. What a comfort to know that something has stirred her memory & awoken her from her passive state & brought her such pleasure. I can relate to your story so well & I guarantee you will cherish this & other such moments over & above the memories of slow decline. Enjoy all such precious times & hold them close xxx

Awww G - somehow managed to miss this page before but so glad I didn't. This is such a lovely story and very much reminds me of my Grandad...he too was quite happy in his little world and so easy to make smile and laugh even though he was confused. The fact the your Mum took so much pleasure from this red jacket is going to be something you all remember fondly forever. Loads a love xxxTracyxxx

What a lovely story - warms the cockles of your heart. Such a little thing but such a big thing to her. Long may she continue to enjoy her red jacket. Love how you have presented this to us.

This is such a wonderful heartwarming story about your Mom, and so very special - it's nice to know that in her world she is happy and something as simple as a new red jacket struck a chord with her and prompted her to want to go walking! This is so beautifully scrapped...thank you for sharing!
